Hello Leela,
Hope you are doing good.
So as per your query, generally the course of CSE is considered to best to do in the engineering. However from the recent years students started opting the specialization course right from the beginning of the first year only. So, if you are also interested to do the specialization from first year then you can definitely adopt the course of CSM.
