Let me tell you that, CSE as main will be better than CSE with specialization in my view.

CSE deals with almost all the aspects which are related to computer science and engineering department, where as CSE specialization involves mostly about your specialization which you have chosen.

In a core CSE branch, you will get to learn a bit of everything within the boundaries of the branch whereas in a specialization course, a particular sub-branch is focused. That sub-branch will be the main focus of your 4 years of engineering.

Specialization in CSE:

• Business Intelligence (BI) Developer.
• Data Architect.
• Applications Architect.
• Infrastructure Architect.
• Enterprise Architect.
• Data Scientist.
• Data Analyst.
• Data Engineer.

So, it would be better if you take Core CSE over CSE specialisation.

let me explain with an example:

in normal CSE first year you are taught with part of details of all other departments. Whereas Cse specialization like data science will only focus particularly on study related to data science and analytics.
