You may have to invest 300-500 per course but do take it as an investment. Learn Python initially, followed by getting expertise in Python Programming using HackerRank Questions. Follwed by Couple of Courses im Data Science and Analytics, dealing with Data Extraction, Data Visualization, Data Mining as well as Machine Learning Fundamentals. You may also take up Guided Projects on Coursera, post applying for Financial Aid (You Usually Get it).

Once you are aversed with the whole concept, take up Projects with Your University Professors or Short Work From Home Data Science Internships, which may eventually make you prepared for a career in Data Science in the Long Run.
