Ankush, as a Candidate belonging to General Category, you should score atleast a minimum aggrgeate of 50% in your Graduation. And unfortunately, the decimals are not rounded off to the nearest digit. You have to earn that through your maks. So even with 49.9%, you are not eligible for CAT. You can still try other entrance examinations which do not have minimum aggregate criteria. But if want to appear for CAT alone, you have to appear for improvement exams if that is a possibility.

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but you are not eligible for CAT examination with 49 % in your graduation and thus you cannot write CAT examination as to be eligible for CAT examination; you need to pass your Bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA to appear in CAT exam entrance exam if you belong to general category whereas Candidates who belong to Scheduled Tribe (ST), Schedule Caste and persons with a disability must score at least 45 % marks in their graduation to be eligible to appear in CAT.
But yes ; yes you can try for other mba entrance examinations like MAT etc , as to be eligible for MAT examination you just need to have completed or you need to be in final year of your graduation in any of stream from a recognised institute or university .
