See u r from one of the core branch in the engineering discipline which itself creates a huge no of competitives. The marks u have scored is enough for u to get admissioned in the NITs for pursuing ur further studies but might not be sufficient for IITs.
There are many good NITs for pursuing the mtech degrees. U may also apply for the IITs but not the old ones. See anything can't be made for sure since the paper this year was bit changed. Hope for the best.
