Hello,

The main difference between circular motion and rotational motion is that circular motion is a special case of rotational motion, where the distance between the body’s centre of mass and the axis of rotation remains fixed. Rotational Motion refers to the motion about a fixed point.

Hope this information helps!!!

Thank you.

Hello student!!

As per your query I would like to inform you that in circular motion body moves in a circle whereas in rotational motion an object has a particular axis on which it moves. For example a toy train which moves in a circular motion is an example of circular motion whereas a car wheel rotates around its axis (axel) so it is an example of an angular motion.

Hope it helps!!!
