Lawrence Kohlberg made great contributions . He basically agreed to the ideas of theorist Jean Piaget but expanded his work and add on his own ideas to explain the moral development of children, which he believed follows a series of stages . He defined three levels of moral deve, that are, preconventional , conventional , and post conventional.
