The function or role of plants is provided below :-

Plants releases Oxygen and absorbs Carbon dioxide so it purifies the air

Plants provides us food as they are capable of synthesizing food by the process of photosynthesis

Plants play an important role in maintaining climate

Plants and trees provides shelter to birds and wildlife

Plants check soil erosion as the roots of plants hold the particles of the soil.
