Hello,

The diameter of a circle is the longest straight line that passes through the center, connecting two points on the circle's edge. It is always twice the radius , which is the distance from the center to any point on the circle.

This connection helps calculate key properties of a circle, such as its circumference and area. For instance, the circumference formula (C=πd) and area formula A=πr^2) rely on this relationship. Understanding diameter and radius is essential in geometry and real-world applications like engineering and design.

Hope it helps !

Well, it is definitely correct because the diameter is indeed twice the length of the radius. Well, if you want to put it mathematically diameter = 2 x radius. Or if we use D to represent the diameter and use r to  represent radius then d = 2r.This equation is used in many geometric concepts and calculations in mathematics. diameter
