The Nootan chemistry book is great source for JEE mains Chemistry,It also contain some advanced concepts which are not even n the the JEE syllabus. The important feature is that they start from right at the beginning,therefore there is no fear of being left out the class and Deatailed explanations have been provided for reaction mechanisms(organic),exceptions(inorganic) which very hepful and handy in solving complex problems or HOTS

But in case of physical chemistry please have some other sources also .

This book also contains some great NCERT problems and  also Prev. year Engineering and Medical Questions which are very important to solve and Their solutions have also been provided.

Nootan Chemistry Book coupled with some standard books like MS chouhan (for organic),Jd LEE(for Inorganic) would be sufficient for Advanced.

Ofcourse yes I would say

Nootan chemistry is all right for jee mains chemistry . although it may have less/more details in some chapters

For eg. Chemical bonding lacks details on hybridisation and shape. but contains vast description of topics that are usually not asked in jee

Nootan physics on the other hand is not good for je. It lacks description of important concepts in many chapters as it is more of a board exam oriented book.
