can you please tell the college that you are willing to know about dress code.

as you have not mentioned any college in your question we cannot tell you exactly.

there are some colleges which follow dress code compulsory for the students. colleges have their own dress code so that they are easily identified as a student of particular college.

and some colleges do not have any dress code. they don`t follow any particular dress code for the students of the college. students are allowed to come to college in any formal dress of their style.
