Hi Sai,
There is not much difference between the two. If you have taken CSE with Bioinformatics then you'll have to do some courses of 'Bioinformatics' INSTEAD of few courses of CSE which you would have done, if you had CSE. In the end, Everybody has to do a fixed number of credits irrespective of their branch.
