Hello dear student a candidate who get appointed as assistant professor or equivalent post should must possess the SET/SLET. They mast have a masters degree. While a jrf assistant professor is the one who have cleared net jrf which is an exam conducted by by UGC , Csir , DBT .  So the students who cleared this entrance test and clear this NET exam are known as jrf assistant professor.
