Here are some of the properties of electric lines of force:

(1)  It never forms a close loop.

(2)  Electron moves from positive to negative .

(3)  It has static charge.

(4)  Electric fields result from the strength of the charge .

Here are some properties of magnetic lines of force:

(1)  It is always in close loop.

(2)  Magnetic lines of force can pass through iron more easily than air.

(3)  Outside the body of the magnet, the direction of magnetic field lines is form north pole to south pole.

(4)  Magnetic field result from the motion of the charge , or the current

So these are the difference between electrical line of force and magnetic line of force .

Thank You.

Hello aspirant,

I will tell u the basic differences between the two field lines-
  • Electrical field lines induces on a positive charge and diminishes in a negative charge whereas a magnetic field line starts at the north pole and ends at the south pole.
  • Electric field and magnetic field lines are mutually perpendicular to each other.
  • Electric field lines form a closed loop whereas magnetic field lines do not form a closed loop.
