difference between electronic communication enggering and electronic telecommunications enggering

There is not much difference in both. In some universities even syllabus is same. If we compare them there is theoretical difference in both.

In ETC all the subjects are related to circuits and semiconductors and in ECE all the subjects are related to waves and signals.
