As you wanted  know difference between gas and vapour

As gas is defined as a state at room temperature where as in case of vapour is a substance which is in gaseous and liquid equilibrium at room temperature

As gas is the  single elememt of the matter with its having unique physical and chemical properties

As incase of vapour there are of two phases converts into gas and can come into liquid state with loss of some energy .

Gas has only one defined state at room temperature whereas vapour is a substance that is in gaseous and also liquid equilibrium at room temperature. A gas has its own physical and chemical properties whereas vapours do not have. Gases obey ideal gas equation whereas vapours do not.
