JEE MAINS examination is conducted by NTA each year and it happens twice in year whereas JEE ADVANCE is conducted by IITs and happens once in a year.And JEE ADVANCE is gateway to IITs whereas with JEE MAINS score you can get admission in NITs,IIITs or GFTIs.To be an elligible for JEE ADVANCE you have to qualify JEE MAINS from your respective category.And you can appear consecutively two years in JEE ADVANCE whereas in JEE MAINS you can appear consecutively three years and two times in each year..
