There are no as such difference between sodium chloride and common table salt . Chemically both have same formula NaCl .

Still , Sodium Chloride is a salt which is made up of one metal and another one from non metal ie , Na - Metal , Cl - Non Metal , where as table salt is a refined salt containg 97 -98 % of Sodium Chloride.
