Hey,

Direct value of biodiversity means that every organism living on this planet plays and important role for sustainability of ecosystem.

Indirect value of Biodiversity means that every living organism depends on other organisms for their survival.

For example:

The direct value is observed in the food chain where every species has importance in survival of others.

and the indirect value is observed where the herbivores depends on plants and omnivores depends on both plant and animal  and when they die they act as humus for plants.
