Correct Answer: 2, 4, 5, 1, 3

Solution : Given:
1. Miscellaneous 2. Miscalculate 3. Mischance 4. Miscall 5. Miscasting

Step 1: Compare the first letter of all the words. Since all the words start with the same letter M, then move on to the next letter.
Step 2: The second, third, and fourth letters of all the words are the same, i.e., is, and c. So, move on to the next letter.
Step 3: Compare the fifth letter of Miscellaneous, Miscalculate, Mischance, Miscall, Miscasting. (Miscalculate, Miscall, Miscasting) will come before Miscellaneous, Mischance as a comes before e, and h according to the alphabetical system. Similarly, Miscellaneous will come before Mischance as e comes before h according to the alphabetical system.
Step 4: Compare the sixth letter of (Miscalculate, Miscall, Miscasting). (Miscalculate, Miscall) will come before Miscasting as l comes before s according to the alphabetical system.
Step 5: Compare the seventh letter of (Miscalculate, Miscall). Miscalculate will come before Miscall as c comes before l according to the alphabetical system.

So, the sequence is Miscalculate, Miscall, Miscasting, Miscellaneous, Mischance, or 2, 4, 5, 1, 3. Hence, the second option is correct.
