hello,

Santosh

Electric dipole moment is used to measure the separation of positive and negative charge in a system whereas magnetic dipole moment is the torque experienced by a material placed in a magnetic field, defined as the product of pole strength and the distance b/w the two poles

Magnetic Dipole
1. It consists of two equal and unlike magnetic poles which do not have any separate existence.
2. Poles of a magnetic dipole do not move.
Electric Dipole
1. It consists of two equal and opposite charges which have a separate existence.
2. Charges of an electric dipole can move .

i hope u understand ,

Thank you.
