I think that is first Filter criteria for the companies which usually do not accept the applicants because they have less marks or percentage in 10th and 12th.

In the campus placements first and foremost criteria is individual should have above 60% in all the categories i.e 10th 12th and in BE.

and also there are companies which do not ask for this type so its totally dependent on the company basis but yes mostly companies require the basic line of 60% and above.
