Hey Ishita..,

There are three types of IIITs in India..

1) public private partnership (PPP)
2) funded by mhrd(central govt)
3) started by state govt.

Leave the 3rd type,

IIIT HYDERABAD & IIIT BANGLORE are PPP 's..
They provide only few courses like cse, ece, in both and some other courses in IIIT H for ug.
IIITH: Takes admission through:

                    JEE MAINS
                     OLYMPIAD TOPERS
                     Entrance test by IIITH(UEEE)
                     Lateral entry test(LEEE)

IIIT B: JEE MAINS SCORE

2nd type

Of iiits take admissions by jee rank

They are very good at placement and holds a record of 100%placements every year.

The remaining IIITs are deemed colleges under Ministry of HRD., IIITS like IIIT DELHI, IIIT Allahabad are too among them.

Hello mittal
According my suggestion jee mains is the only best enyrnce exam to get into any IIIT college for sure so don't worry about to write any other exam
If your score matches the iiit you can get into it... This will vary based on the category, rank and also competition
