Yes you will have to appear for the entrance test even if you are from a separate state.

For PUBDET admission test of Presidency University, in every subject, all questions in the exam will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four options against each question. There will be 50 questions in each paper with full marks of 100 and the time allotted will be 90 minutes.

But it has been postponed due to the outbreak of covid19 now. Also the admission tests for each universities differ , so be prepared for every type of tests.

yes,you should give PUBDET entrance to take admission in bachelor's degree courses in presidency university,kolkata.i think the other state students can give PUBDET,since it is conducted by WBJEE board.wbjee is applicable to all state students.
