Yes, there are recruiters who hire from IIMs, such as PFC and RBI (not government companies, but close enough). Until 2016, there was ambiguity due to differing high court orders, but recruitment began in 2016. However, keep in mind that you can expect a starting salary of 9 lakhs to 15 lakhs on the MBA campus. In the case of RBI Grade B officers, you start at the same level as everyone else. So, if you are truly interested in PSUs, try to pass the exams directly rather than investing 2 million rupees in an IIM MBA and then struggling to repay loans.
