If you are talking about gym and it's bodybuilding. Then it depends on your state and your hardwork. Heavyweight lifting championship completions will bring you more future scopes rather then just heavyweight bodybuilding. Only benefit of bodybuilding  is, If you are best in your physique maintaince and have a good record of bodybuilding then you have chances for getting government Jobs. So, you should be even prepared for other opportunities you need if you are not getting benefits in it.
