IELTS is  International English Language Testing System which is basically an exam, accepted internationally which checks the proficiency of English language. It is conducted by the British council in offline and online mode. And different countries have various cutoffs of IELTS bands for accepting the candidates. For example: you will need atleast 6.5 bands to get admission in colleges of France and to get into USA you will need atleast 7 bands. For Australia, it is 5.5 bands, 6.5 bands for Canada and so on.
