Hello,

There is no such instructions about self attested documents by gazetted officer however all the documents must be self attested and their photocopies required at the time of counselling.

Counselling is different from states to states so you have to go through particular state brochure to get information about your counselling process.for example in u.p counselling there is no instructions about it.

Further,after documents verification they provide 3 receipts DD, registration and combined slip keep them for future reference.
