Dear Das, any educational qualification as long as it is from a Recognised University holds the same importance and value. Even if it is a Private University or a Government University, as long as your grades and aggregate are good, the value holds the same. Because the seats in Government Institutions are less and not everyone can get a seat there, there are Private colleges in the picture. This holds the same for a degree and in your case even your Ph.D. degree. Just ensure that your Institution or University is recognized either by the State Government or the Govt. of India.
