According to the NMC Bill last year, UP government has introduced a rule to offer compulsory rural services for upto two years.
It is for all the students, for MBBS and even MD/MS. If not, they are supposed to pay a fine for upto 10lakhs for MBBS students and 40 lakhs for MD/MS students.
