BARC does have reservation for handicapped candidates for recruitment in the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering only. The eligibility criteria for applying at BARC for the handicapped candidates are as follows:

• Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering.
• Age Limit-  19 years to 24 years.

However for physically challenged candidates there is relaxation as follows:

• UR category- 10 years.
• OBC category- 13 years.
• SC/ ST category- 15 years.

Candidates with disability in the category of One Leg affected (OL) can apply for the computer science discipline however the physical deformity should not be less than 40%.

Do keep in mind that the final recruitment would be allotted after completion of 2 years of service as training.

Stipend during training- 1st year: Rs.16,000/-

2nd year- Rs. 18,000/-
