Undoubtedly fisheries is a good course and it has huge opportunities in both the private and government sector.The only thing is that there is not much awareness among the people regarding these courses.You may pursue BFsc or Bsc in fisheries or aquaculture.Many researches are going on in institutes like CMFRI,CIFT,CIFA,CIBA,NIO regarding fisheries .There are many ooportunities in exporting fishery products and business fields related to it.You may also pursue MBA in fisheries if you are interested.
