As you haven't mentioned any particular exam, it is difficult to guide you properly.  However, it is generally not mentioned in the guidelines of any exam regarding application of henna.

Nevertheless, it is not recommended to do so. Every center does not have the same level of strictness. So it's better to avoid things like this which might create problem.
