Home state quota is very vital and can be applied for GFTIs as well.

The counselling Board keeps certain percentage of seats reserved for home state students for colleges.

Also if you are applying for a college in your state then you have higher chances of getting admission when compared with students of other state .

So you can easily get admission to GFTIs through home state quota.
