Hii rukmani,
Admission in M.Tech. are based on GATE score.so if you want admission in M.Tech. you need not to prepare for JEE but for GATE to get admission in prominent institution like IITs and NITs.

i am not able to understand your question completely regard less i'll try to answer!

yess you can apply for jee only 3 time in your life even after getting admission in someother college for btech.

and you need to apply for GATE for doing Mtech not JEE mains.
