You can choose the subject you are interested in (optional). There is no rquirement of it having in your graduation.

So if a person is doing Btech in Mechanical Branch then he is eligible to give IAS exam by taking Geography subject or not?

So which degree we have to show that,i.e student has done graduation in Geography or graduation in Btech.
