IBPS was started especially to encourage the recruitment of young graduates in the public banks. It's meant for the Banking sector. So, appearing for IBPS is certainly a good idea if you wish to work in this sector. IBPS 2018 registration will close on September 4. You can also appear for CMAT exam, qualify it with a high percentile and study MBA in Banking and Finance from a renowned B-school.

Both the exams deal with Reasoning, English Language, and Numerical Ability. CMAT exam additionally asks General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude questions. You would need to study a little extra for CMAT exam preparation. Prepare for both the exams and see in which exam you perform better and take the decision accordingly. CMAT 2019 will be conducted on January 28, 2019, and IBPS 2018 will be conducted in October/November.
