Hey !

In CSAB counselling , you will get admission on the basis of your all india rank but will get benefits due to your OBC rank . But in CSAB special round , only your CRL or all india rank will be considered. The rules for CSAB counselling as sane as JOSAA counselling.

yes in all the counseling process whether done by CSAB, JOSSA, MCC, etc or any other government counseling process, category rank is considered.

THIS MEANS Your category rank will be considered only  if the seats are vacant for your category. If only open category seat is vacant after JOSSA or CSAB then your CRL will be considered.
