Hello Dear,

Yes you will need to study statistics in ECE maths Subject. However, the subjects and syllabus vary from institute to institute.

The main syllabus of statistics will consist of following topics:

  • Mean, median, mode
  • Deviation
  • Binomial Theorem
  • Probability
  • Regression analysis
  • Correlation

Mathematics form  foundation of hour Engineering studies.

Your. Four semester maths content ( for ECE)  is likely to be

First semester - integration , differential equations , vectors, matrices

Second semester- degrees of differential equations and lots of formulas to practice.

Third semester - third semester is typically easier and focuses only on  analytical calculus, statistics , and probability distribution.

Fourth semester - dscrete mathematics.
