Generally placement of any branch depends upon the college ranking , a good college may have good placement for all branch , but if taking a general case so computer science and engineering branch has high placement, and mechanical branch too has good placement but in comparison of CSE it's less but going with mechanical branch may benifitial in one way that mostly people can take jobs in government company which is little bit difficult in CSE sector.
