As robotics and automation is an inter-disciplinary course for those who are graduated in Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering or computer engineering.NIT Rourkela has a robotics clubs in which various competitions and research and development work is done. Apart from this IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Chennai, IIT Kharagpur provides this course.
But this field is very beneficial if you do it in your master level as your specialization.
