Qualifying marks doesn't fetch you government college. In any entrance if you qualify for the exam then it means you are eligible for taking admission into the specific course.

If you are qualified in an exam you might get a seat in semi government and Private college. For getting government college you must  score more than a qualifying percentile.

Some colleges do varies in cutoff and the cutoff also depends on the category student. So do let me know about the examination you want to know and also the cutoff score. I could give you a brief about it.
