The TFWS stands for TUITION FEE WAIVER SCHEME,
this scheme was introduced by MINISTRY of HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (MHRD) for providing highly subsidised education to economically backward classes,women and physically disabled students.
For SC/ST category, they do not need to pay any tuition fee for their entire course.
For OBC category they need to pay 50% of the fees for theri entire course.
For Open category, TFWS gives concession on tuition fee if annual income is less than 6 lakh per year.the same needs to be filled in form before cap rounds.
