I assure you that the board you have studied from does affect the chance of you getting or missing a seat. As long as you have secured the amount of marks required for eligibility to that course or college, it does not matter which board you have come from, provided it is a recognized board. CBSE is a prominent and recognized board and should not be any trouble.
