Since you have no mentioned a particular college, I'm going to answer in general. Most of the colleges in India, be it a top college or mid level college, provide hostel facilities for students who are from different cities or in general want to opt for hostel. Every college with hostel facilities has girls hostel and boys hostel. Both of these hostels are separate and there is no connection between them.

So, you don't have to worry about anything. If you can mention the college you are asking about, i can let you know if they provide hostel facilities.
