The candidates can take entrance examinations like the LSAT (Law School Admission Test), AILET (All India Law Entrance Test), and CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). When the results of these entrance tests are announced, admission is generally started at all law colleges.

Government-run Dr. Ambedkar Law College has very affordable tuition. For SC ST students and first graduates, concessions are offered. The cost every semester would be between 500 and 1000 rupees. The students can apply for scholarships in the designated categories.
