Hello Aspirant ,
Yes there is a dress code which candidate has to follow .
The Notified Rules includes:

Light Clothes with half Sleeves.
The Cloths should not have any big prints, buttons, brooch, batches, etc.
Footwear should not have high heels, sports shoes, etc.
Female applicants must avoid any type of jewelry like earrings, nose rings, rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelet or anklets.
Metal detectors may cause an unnecessary hassle if the metal is found on the person.
Also remove your kada/bangle aur dhaaga from hand before going to examination.

As per the COVID 19 safety guidelines, applicants must wear a mask and gloves.

Hello,

Dress code of the candidates appearing for NEET are strictly monitored by the officials before letting them into their examination centre.

The rules to be followed are as follows:

Irrespective of any gender, both male and female candidates should wear a mask as per Covid guideline.

Dress code for Boys:

  • Dresses with full hand sleeves are prohibited.  One should wear shirt/t-shirt with half sleeve only.
  • The outfit should not contain any heavier decorative items like zipper, pocket, unwanted buttons.  The dress worn should be free from embroidery.
  • Lighter pants free from decorative works are allowed.  Trousers are also allowed.
  • Candidates should not appear to the venue on Kurta Pajama.
  • Thin chappals and sandals are highly preferred as, shoes are prohibited.

Dress code for Girls:

  • Outfits with embroidery work are not allowed as for Boys.
  • Half sleeve dresses are only allowed but not the full sleeve ones.
  • Jeans is a heavier material and is prohibited.
  • Palazzos and Leggings are not allowed
  • Thich sole shoes or chappals are not allowed.  Instead wear a simpler one with lighter sole.
  • Any kind of Jewelry items are prohibited to the exam centre.

Exceptions:

  • Outfits specific to a particular religion are allowed.  For example, Female students are allowed to wear Burkha to the examination hall.
