In BPSC Exam all subjects are equally  easy and equally hard depends upon person to person.It depends in which subject you have  interest more.if you have a interest in History then sure you should take history optional to score well. Your intrest in a particular subject makes it easy or hard for you .

I will advice you not to go for the things like easy and hard . You should work hard for each and every subject of your syllabus to clear out the enterance exam.
