ECE or Chemical engineering which is better and why?

Hi Rakesh,

Every branch of engineering has its own importance and utility. One must choose the branch of your interest irrespective of its goodness or badness. Nevertheless, the two branches you mentioned are entirely different from one another.

ECE

when compared to chemical there are more opportunities here. You can work in large software related MNCs and give ESE. The placement is good.


CHEMICAL

Being a Chemical engineer you have to work in industries and laboratories. It is more research oriented. You can give ESE but not with your branch. You will work in large MNCs.


Moreover, there would be great difference in lifestyle. Hence choose wisely and follow your interest.
