Hi Sayatanan,

EE( Electrical Engineering) and ECE( Electronics and Communication Engineering) are considered to be some of the good branches of study.

  Electrical Engineering:

   1. It is a Core Branch

   2. The Placements in India are generally in the Public Sector and you will have too crack GATE if you want job oppotunities in core electrical companies like NTPC

   3. It is counted in one of the most competititve branches out their.

I won't say Anything on the syllabus content or difficulty level of any of the Branches.

Electronics And Communication Engineering:

  1. It is considered to be a good branch, because the scope in it is too vast at present time.

  2. It is not a core branch.

  3. The Placement opportunities are too good. And you don't have to pass any exams like GATE, etc. to get a good JOB as their is scope in PRivate sector too.

Well I hope I was able to make the choosing of the branches a little easier for you.

Best of Luck

Thank you
